An introductory design exercise at the scale of the human body, developed through hand sketches, material tests and photographic documentation of a load-bearing seating object.
UE 02 · Intervention in the landscape · Olevano — The Breathing City
An intervention in the landscape, starting from a landscape painting and the question of how minimal architectural interventions can make spatial qualities legible.
UE 03 · Analysis of small buildings · Allenmoos Open-Air Pool
Analysis of a small building with a focus on context, space, light, circulation, structure, materiality and atmosphere.
UE 04 · Bath house on the Töss · Töss 01
A bath house on the slope above the Töss: a fully timber, radially organised structure between a dark compressed entrance, an open interior and a minimal contact with the topography.
UE 05 · Analysis and intervention in the urban fabric · Echo
Analysis and intervention in the existing former Müller weaving mill / Mühle Kempten in Wetzikon, developed under the theme of “repetition”.
UE 06 · Stucky Nail Factory · Theatre Workshop
A theatre workshop on the Nagelfabrik site - conceived as a place of work for acting students, with spaces for rehearsal, observation, waiting, exchange, and retreat.
